1/4/2024 0 Comments Audiofinder import![]() I use audioFinder every day, it's helped me out tremendously with my workflow. I just wish this was iTunes' database simplicity + your Viewer I think it's the best out there right now with Snapper by Audioease being the next in line. I do really like the audio file viewer/player. Just one big library with all of my stuff indexed, that's what we want in the end right? To be able to jump into the app, go to the search box and type in "Bass line" and get an instant result, then flip through the results and get a playback. I should be able to just drag and drop a new folder from finder on the Main Library and have it import all of the meta data into a new sub-library or directly into the main-library. When you click on the Main Library, it should search everything you have, all sub-libraries, if you pick a sub-library it should narrow the search to just the sub-library. The Main Library should be everything, dozens of sub-libraries: I mean, scan vs import, these differ how exactly? And why do I have to keep rebuilding my main library? I think you should take some cue's from how iTunes is structured, it's simple and it works. Even after reading the manual and attempting a dozen different times to get everything set up I still find myself struggling to get a natural workflow out of it. I think that the biggest area of weirdness is with the library. If any readers know of Sound Library software that I have missed which should be included, please let me know in the comments – I did contact but have never had a response. ![]() – do you use your own custom metadata? – can your custom metadata be read by other programs? – can your custom metadata be exported for use in other programs? – what fields of metadata do you support? – can I import metadata from a spreadsheet?
